Provide clinical leadership and care for individuals with co-occurring mental illness and intellectual or neurodevelopmental disabilities in a major metropolitan mental health service in Brisbane, Queensland.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a multidisciplinary team and provide expert clinical care.
* Supervise and educate registrars, junior doctors, and other healthcare professionals.
* Collaborate with different teams across this metropolitan health service to enhance care for people with intellectual and neurodevelopmental disabilities.
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research.
Selection Criteria:
* Experience in Psychiatry, particularly intellectual disability and neurodevelopmental disorders.
* Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists or equivalent.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* A desire and commitment to support both patients and their families/carers.
* Willingness to participate in education activities.
* Clinical governance experience.
This is a high-earning position with a salary of up to $500k plus oncalls etc.
