We are looking for enthusiastic budding engineer, eager to learn and with a flexible approach to work This position is ideal for someone with hands-on electronics/electrical experience and looking for an opportunity to get in to medical equipment. This post will give you the chance to familiarise yourself with the various types of medical equipment, risks associated with the devices, and pertaining regulations. This position also provides the opportunity to acquire hands-on experience with various types of test equipment used for calibration and repair, as well as in-house training on various medical device. Main duties of the job To help maintain and upkeep of medical devices in the hospital as recommended by the device manufacturers. This includes carrying out planned preventative maintenance and repairs on a variety of clinical equipment to ensure that the manufacturer's functional and safety specifications are met. Working on Medical equipment database to keep a complete and accurate technical records of work performed. Assisting in general day to day working of the department, helping Clinical staff with technical issue relating to medical devices, liaising with Device manufacturers and helping in maintaining stock levels.
