An opportunity has arisen for a well organised and proactive administrator to join our fast-paced ENT Waiting List Team at the William Harvey Hospital.
The post holder will need to be engaging, compassionate, friendly and able to use their own initiative.
The successful applicant will be joining a highly motivated and effective team who strive to ensure patient care is at the forefront of our service.
• The post holder will be part of the Waiting List team and will be responsible for the day to day compiling of waiting lists, the co-ordination of scheduling patients and the effective utilisation of theatre lists.
• To ensure this is appropriately managed this will require processing of complex and sensitive information.
• The post holder will be required to manage waiting lists ensuring compliance with local and national targets and the Trust’s Patient Access Policy.
• The coordinator is responsible for the administrative role
within the patient’s pathway from the decision to treat electively to the date of admission.
• Key liaison between the Trust and outsourced dictation services, or voice recognition services, for the
majority of clinical administration.
• Provide comprehensive administrative, clerical support to consultants and their teams.
• Work in a team based secretarial service providing support for each other and ensuring continuity of the service.
