Job Title: Brand Specialist (Field Sales Representative)

Main Responsibilities:
We have an exciting opportunity to hire an ambitious, passionate, sales-driven Brand Specialist to support all our brands across key retailers in Birmingham. You will promote, demonstrate, and communicate to customers the brands in Selfridges, with ambitious retail sales targets.
You will show passion for providing exceptional service and demonstrate excellent product and brand knowledge while being self-motivated and able to work as a team player. You will be a role model in delivering the brand customer journey and will conduct exceptional service-led customer consultations to maximize sales opportunities.
The Brand Specialist will also plan and execute in-store training and events, while highlighting stock challenges to your Line Manager and ensuring a full SKU profile is always available.
* Achieve sales targets while developing and embedding a premium customer service and building customer loyalty.
* Increase counter/account productivity to meet a minimum AUS 2.0 & AVS £65.
* Desire to learn fundamental product knowledge, including features, benefits, usage, and application techniques to provide the best results for the customer.
* Traffic stop and share our brand icons.
* Maintain counter/store quality and merchandising, including appearance and cleanliness of counter/display, ensuring merchandising is to planogram and completing a stock audit for full stock availability.
* Submit daily and weekly reports to your Line Manager.
* Develop positive relationships with department store floor managers and head office.
* Maintain a strong knowledge of skincare and beauty trends.
* Bring new ideas to the business to maximize sales and hit targets.
* Arrange store activity and dual sites (as agreed with line manager) to drive sales and footfall.
* Prepare and execute exciting in-store events that contribute to sales targets.
* Use technical knowledge and selling skills to influence customers and assist them in choosing the right products.
* Proactively identify challenges with a solution-driven attitude.
* Ensure high merchandising standards are maintained, e.g., planograms adhered to, testers available and clean, POS on shelf, pricing tickets in situ.
* Manage samples effectively when available in-store.
* Proven experience in sales and achieving/exceeding targets.
* Evidence of growing accounts.
* Experience selling in FMCG and beauty/skincare is advantageous.
* Strong interpersonal, numeracy, and organizational skills.
* Excellent team player.
* Proactive and self-motivated.
* Working hours to meet peak trade requirements (Tuesday to Saturday).
