We are looking for an innovative and forward-thinking Multi-Category Garment Technologist to join our team. They must have experience of essential categories (Soft intimates, underwear, socks and sleep) preferable across multi genders. This role is ideal for someone who excels at pushing boundaries and thinking creatively. You should have a strong understanding of grade fitting and be skilled in accurately adjusting graded specifications based on fitting data, with a passion for fit and sizing. You’ll play a key role in driving innovation, redefining technical specs, and setting new industry benchmarks. Your expertise will ensure our garments consistently meet the highest quality standards while leading in fit, comfort, and performance.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead fit sessions, focusing on enhancing garment comfort and functionality.
* Create detailed technical specifications, garment construction guidelines, and measurement charts for production teams to follow, ensuring consistency and accuracy in garment construction.
* Coordinate with suppliers and external laboratories to conduct fabric and trim testing for properties such as colourfastness, shrinkage, and durability, ensuring materials meet performance requirements.
* Contribute to the creation and maintenance of internal processes, manuals, grading, and other documentation.
* Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure timely task completion and provide support as needed.
* Identify and resolve technical issues related to garment construction, fit, and quality during the development and production stages, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
* Liaise with Factories and Design Arc Sourcing office to communicate technical requirements, resolve production issues, and ensure compliance with company standards and specifications.
* Manage and maintain up-to-date critical path.
* Conduct ad hoc AQL and quality inspections as needed.
* Assist in the approval of shipment samples, ensuring fit and quality align with the sealed Pre-Production samples.
* Update internal documents, including grading and sizing work, as necessary.

* You will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar Technologist role.
* You have brilliant organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise your workload in order to get the job done to the highest standards.
* You possess a collaborative approach – focusing on strong relationship-building and great communication.
* You have good commercial awareness, a level of financial understanding and numeracy as well as affinity with product.
