Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Liverpool City Council's Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children's team as a Deputy Manager. This is a full time role, offering £44 per hour.

Responsibilities:
11. Be confident in the application of all legal proceedings and legal frameworks, with a robust understanding of young people's whole journey through the care system.
12. Must be experienced in promoting stable placements and implement positive long-term change and improvements, supporting with clear pathway planning
13. Will support a high-performance culture within the team, with consistent good practice across the team.
14. Will actively support the team manager in decision making, chairing meetings and actively working in partnership with partners/multi-agencies, particularly Housing, Health and Education, to be able to advocate for our young people to secure the access to the services that they need.
15. Will support all recruitment, induction, training and effective supervision of all team members, championing professional career development.
16. Will be a Practice Educator.
Requirements:
17. Social Work England Registered
18. Enhanced DBS
19. Social Work Degree or equivalent
