What the school offers its staff
We are looking for someone who:
• Is a practising Catholic with a firm commitment to the Catholic ethos of the school (we accept applications from non-Catholic candidates who feel able to fully support the faith)
• Is excited about joining a new school and the opportunities this may bring and loves being a teacher (even on those days when it all feels a little bit hard!)
• Is an enthusiastic and effective teacher with high expectations of yourself and the children you work with, with an ability/commitment to raise the attainment and progress of all children
• Has a good knowledge of the curriculum with interesting and exciting teaching ideas to help us further develop our ambitious curriculum, an understanding of child development and a willingness to develop these further through training and research/staff collaboration
• Has the necessary experience (either from their current role or historical posts) and a commitment to develop further in all aspects of the role
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, is confident and can demonstrate effective teamwork/ collaboration in our very strong team
• Is willing to build strong and supportive relationships with pupils, parents, support agencies, governors and staff
• Will become fully involved in the wider life of the school and parish
