Our client is an SME niche manufacturing operation based in north Sheffield. There is an immediate opportunity for an experienced and ideally part or fully qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent Accountant to join their business on an initial 3-6 month interim, with very strong potential for a permanent appointment.
The role will report directly to the Senior leadership team and take responsibility for the management of the complete accounting operations.
Key duties will include:
1. General ledger management
2. Cost accounting
3. Inventory and stock control
4. Oversee AP and AR function
5. Payroll
6. VAT Compliance
7. Management of the finance team
8. Year end
9. Budgeting
10. Ad hoc tasks as required
