We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated, and skilled 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support pupils with social and emotional needs in our inclusive and nurturing school community. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in child counselling, youth work, or similar fields who are passionate about helping children achieve their potential. About the Role: Individual Support: Provide tailored 1:1 support to pupils with specific social and emotional needs, helping them develop confidence, resilience, and positive relationships. Collaborative Approach: Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and external professionals to implement individual support plans and strategies. Nurturing Environment: Foster a safe, positive, and encouraging space for learning and personal growth. Flexible Hours: Full-time or part-time hours available to suit the right candidate. What We Are Looking For: Experience working with children, ideally in education, child counselling, youth work, or a similar role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with children and colleagues. Patience, empathy, and adaptability to meet the unique needs of pupils with social and emotional challenges. A willingness to learn and implement strategies to support special educational needs (SEN).
