We are working with a dynamic and growing company specialising in liquid and powder handling process solutions. Our client’s expertise spans various industries, including food, beverage, pharmaceuticals, breweries, bakeries, dairies, and utilities across the UK.
Role Summary: Reporting directly to the Service and Support Manager, you will play a crucial role in commissioning process equipment and ensuring its smooth operation. As, your responsibilities will include fault finding, troubleshooting, and software modification for various equipment platforms. Additionally, you’ll provide post-project support, maintenance, and assistance to our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute process engineering commissioning activities, including equipment setup, fault finding, and troubleshooting across different software platforms.
2. Modify and troubleshoot software for PLC.
3. Provide customer support during post-project warranty periods.
4. Perform routine equipment maintenance and respond to call-outs and breakdowns.
5. Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System for all commissioning and validation activities.
6. Create specifications and performance data sheets for process equipment and instrumentation upon commissioning.
7. Conduct testing and maintain accurate performance records.
8. Cultivate and maintain excellent working relationships with customers and team members.
Qualifications:
9. Bachelor’s degree in chemical/food Process Engineering or a predicted Chemical/Process qualification with a minimum 2:1 classification.
10. Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., NVQ City & Guilds).
