As we continue to grow, we seek a driven Digital Marketing Manager to join our team and lead our marketing efforts across our owned and paid channels.
The role
We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to develop and execute our marketing strategy, focusing on promoting our programmes and enhancing our brand presence. This role is intrinsic to raising awareness of our brand, acquiring new audiences, generating demand, and nurturing leads. The ideal candidate will be a strategic problem solver with a consistent record in digital marketing and adept at handling multiple campaigns and channels simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategy Development: Create and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies across owned and paid channels (website, email, content, SEO, events and paid content partnerships) to promote our programmes and services.
2. Brand Awareness: Develop and complete campaigns to raise brand awareness and build our brand among new and existing audiences.
3. Audience Acquisition: Design and lead initiatives to acquire new audiences through targeted marketing campaigns, using SEO, SEM, social media (agency run), and content marketing.
4. Demand Generation: Drive demand generation efforts, creating compelling campaigns that attract and convert leads into customers, and increase the volume of inbound enquiries.
5. Lead Nurture: Implement lead nurturing strategies to engage prospects through the sales funnel, using email marketing, content, and personalised outreach.
6. Client Marketing: Collaborate with the wider commercial team to create and implement marketing campaigns targeted at our existing clients, ensuring high engagement and retention.
7. Content Creation: Oversee the development of high-quality content that resonates with our target audience, including blog posts, ebooks and reports, case studies, and multimedia content.
8. SEO Optimisation: Develop and complete SEO strategies to improve organic search visibility and direct traffic to our website.
9. Paid Content Partnerships: Identify and lead partnerships for paid content opportunities to expand our reach and visibility.
10. Event Marketing: Help to plan and complete our event marketing strategies, including webinars, seminars, and industry events, to promote our programmes and engage with our audience.
11. Performance Analysis: Monitor, analyse, and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns, using data-driven insights to optimise and improve results.
12. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, editorial, research and design to align marketing efforts with business goals and objectives.
13. Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends and technologies, ensuring our strategies remain innovative and effective.
Requirements
1. 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on strategy development and execution.
2. Proven track record of successful digital marketing campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and conversions.
3. Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, email marketing, content marketing, paid content partnerships, and event marketing.
4. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
5. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
6. Creative problem solver with the ability to develop innovative marketing strategies.
7. Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
8. Strong project management skills, with the ability to run multiple campaigns and initiatives simultaneously.
