1to1 Group are looking for a Purchase Ledger for their client on the outskirts of Winchester for a temporary on-going role.
The person successful in this role will be a detail-oriented individual who is adept at maintaining financial records whilst working closely with various departments to facilitate smooth operations. The Purchase Ledger Clerk plays a vital role in the financial operations of this organisation, ensuring accurate processing and management of purchase invoices. This is a full-time (Monday- Friday), on-site temporary role with the salary between £13- £14 an hour.
Role Responsibilities
1. Process purchase invoices accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies.
2. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues that may arise.
3. Maintain up-to-date records in the accounting systems.
4. Ensure proper documentation for all purchases.
5. Support the finance team with month-end closing processes and reporting requirements.
6. Provide assistance during audits by preparing necessary documentation related to purchases.
Skills Required
1. Proficient in using accounting systems.
2. Knowledge of logistics processes and supply chain management principles.
3. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills to maintain accurate records.
4. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual responsibilities effectively.
5. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with internal teams and external suppliers.
