About the Role As an Accounts Assistant, you will: Assist the Financial Controller with day-to-day financial tasks, including processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records. Handle customer queries and provide excellent service with a personable and professional approach. Set up and manage direct debits & perform accurate credit checks. Process sales invoices, manage & set up customer accounts, and ensure timely communication regarding financial matters. Help prepare financial reports and assist with month-end tasks. The Person Previous experience in accounts or bookkeeping is essential. A bubbly and outgoing personality, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. A customer-focused mindset and the ability to build positive relationships. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Confidence working with numbers and using accounting software (experience with packages like Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks is a plus). The Package Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5pm Competitive Salary of £26,000 - £30,000pa DOE. Hybrid working opportunity (2 days from home, 3 days in the office) 29 days holiday (including Bank Holidays).
