Our lettings team are responsible for the effective day-to-day management and delivery of lettings across the business. You'll work with internal colleagues and local authorities to ensure a fair allocation of properties, ensuring they are managed in a timely and accurate manner. If you have experience in housing or lettings, it will help you hit the ground running. You will guide new customers through the lettings process, ensuring information and records are gathered and issued following policy and procedures. You will ensure the accurate set up of tenancies and completion of relevant pre-tenancy checks, working closely with our empty homes team to minimise void time. You will maintain and manage shortlists for advertised properties under the appropriate local authority and Bromford policies, ensuring a fair and transparent process. Ultimately, your work will help us achieve some important targets, but the most rewarding part of the job is seeing people and families manage their own homes, to build brighter futures and thrive. This role is full time and permanent. You'll be based in our Chipping Sodbury office, BS37 6JX with regular home working available. The role is subject to a basic DBS check. In this role, we want you to bring: Experience in a front-line customer-facing role. Experience within housing or lettings will be beneficial to help you hit the ground running but not essential, we are more interested in you being passionate about customer service Excellent communication with colleagues and customers alike, in an engaging and welcoming way A positive attitude and a consistent, engaged team player.
