Housing Management Coordinator with Apprenticeship
Location: West Yorkshire, Huddersfield, Batley
Type: Permanent, full-time (37.5 hours/week), Monday to Friday
Salary: £13.21 per hour (£25,838 per annum) plus benefits including Health Cash Plan
Note: Plus upskilling via an apprenticeship from day one if you don't already hold a relevant qualification.
About the Role
This is a great opportunity for a Housing Management Coordinator to join our team in West Yorkshire. As our Housing and Property Guru, you’ll focus on tenancy support, ensuring homes are safe and well maintained, while undertaking an apprenticeship alongside your duties.
Typical Responsibilities
* Supporting customers to ensure their properties are homes they can be proud of, engaging and involving them in their tenancies.
* Assisting with housing benefit claims and ensuring these are received on rent accounts.
* Issuing and signing warning letters and notices, potentially attending court if necessary.
* Preparing rooms for new tenants and ensuring maximum occupancy by turning around vacant properties within set timescales.
* Ensuring health and safety compliance and maintenance standards are met.

* Enthusiasm for housing and landlord management duties.
* Experience or interest in re-letting rooms, collecting rents, and tenancy actions.
* The ability to work independently and positively influence people from diverse backgrounds.
* A proactive, well-organized attitude with a positive "can do" approach.
* Confident collaboration with colleagues and external partners.
