We are looking for experienced and committed Healthcare Assistants with an interactive approach, who are eager to enhance their skills in the complex care sector.
You will need to be passionate about delivering the highest quality care to our service users, building positive relationships with them and their family whilst empowering them to live as independently as possible within the comfort of their own home.
Meet our service user
Our service user is a teenage boy who lives in Blackburn with his loving family.
He enjoys spending quality time with his family and care team and attending school socialising with his peers. He loves to watch cartoons, listening to music and playing with his soft cuddly toys.
He is unable to communicate verbally and will use facial expressions to make his wants and needs known. To avoid him becoming distressed or frustrated, you will spend time to get to know his unique signals and cues.
During the night, you will assist with personal care, repositioning, clinical observations, and attending to any medical requirements to ensure a peaceful night's rest.
This is a personally rewarding role where you can build on your skills and experience, whilst delivering exceptional care and support to our service users really making an impact on his day-to-day life.
Please note, our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.
To be successful in this role it is essential that you have experience in following areas:
1. 3 months' previous care experience
2. Medication Administration
3. Personal Care
4. Moving and Handling
Experience working with the following clinical needs is desirable, however is not essential to be considered for this role:
5. Epilepsy Management
6. Mic-Key Button care
Shifts Available
7. Part Time Nights: 2-3 shifts per week
8. Sunday - Wednesday
9. 10:00pm - 8:00am
Take a look at our pay rates
Weeknights: £13.50 per hour (£135 approx. per 10-hour shift)
Sundays: £14.50 per hour (£145 approx. per 10-hour shift)
Bank Holiday: £15.00 per hour (£150 approx. per 10-hour shift)
