Interim Payroll Specialist opportunity with a successful Glasgow based organisation for a 6-month period.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:
* Conducting reconciliations analysis of PAYE liabilities and ensure timely, accurate submissions to HMRC.
* Reconciling pension contributions, ensuring accuracy in calculation and reporting to relevant pension providers.
* Performing control account reconciliations, identifying discrepancies and implementing resolutions in coordination with finance and HR departments.
* Analysing payroll data to identify trends, errors, and areas for improvement.
* Generating reports on payroll metrics, cost analyses, and statutory deductions.
* Data gathering and cleansing within payroll system in preparation for new system implementation.
* Providing insights on payroll efficiencies, compliance risks, and audit results.
The Individual:
* Available within 4 weeks’ notice.
* Previous experience in a similar payroll position.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent working knowledge of Excel and payroll software.

* Salary up to £50,000 p.a.
* Option to work from North Lanarkshire or Glasgow office.
