We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Care Supervisor (Days) to lead and supervise care teams at Dunkirk Memorial House.
You will ensure that our teams are delivering compassionate, effective, and high-quality care to our beneficiaries.
At Dunkirk, we have an ethos of embracing where our Residents are on their dementia pathway; to reflect this, our specialised dementia unit (The Mews) is a very vibrant place full of sensory stimulation promoting meaningful occupation.
As part of this role, you will be expected to prepare comprehensive care plans that promote wellbeing and encourage beneficiaries and their families to participate so that the care plans respect their choices and preferences.
Requirements
1. Educated to Level 3 Diploma in Adult Social Care or equivalent and evidence of continuous professional development relevant to Dementia care practice is essential.
2. Medication administration experience.
3. Experience working with external health professionals and care planning.
4. Previous experience of working in a Care Home with older people or working in adult social care is required to fulfil this role.
