Key Responsibilities
* Implementing qualification assessments and examinations across various sectors
* Developing and implementing product and service policies, processes, and procedures at an organisational level
* Maintaining and raising standards in assessment and/or assessment delivery
* Reviewing the performance of assessment tools
* Managing a remote associate workforce
Requirements
* Operational implementation of new qualifications and quality endorsement services
* Leading on the delivery of external assessments
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
* Managing the administration of examinations
* Point of contact for examination enquiries
* Supporting External Quality Assurers (EQAs)
* EQA activity management
* Technology utilisation and system improvement
* Examination process and procedure
* Work-based Learning and RQF qualifications
* The role of the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfATE) including organisational compliance
* Understanding of the role of Ofqual and Awarding Organisations within the context of Apprenticeship Standards and qualifications
* Understanding of national, risk-based assessment systems/regulatory frameworks/best practice
* A complete understanding of the key validity and reliability issues associated with different assessment methodologies
* Regulatory knowledge and understanding with the ability to drive positive process change
* A good understanding of the implications of existing and new assessment models for customers
* Project Management – issues, approaches, tools & strategies; pitfalls & case studies
