ROLE SUMMARY The GSC Market Lead (ML) UK is the local PGS /GSC representative and partner to the local commercial organization and is a member of the market commercial leadership team. The GSC ML UK has full accountability for overall management of processes and defining / implementing strategies that deliver PGS’s Supply Chain vision, culture, and initiatives in alignment with business objectives. The GSC ML will e nsure compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) regulations to maintain the quality of the products and integrity of the distribution chain. Demand Planning and Supply Management Implement planning optimization techniques and processes for demand forecasting ; translate forecasts into reliable demand plans and budgets Develop and leverage in-depth understanding of customers’ operations and sales characteristics; apply insights to operational and continuous improvement initiatives Partner with other members of the company´s leadership team to identify how supply chain can help the company achieve its business and financial goals Lead Executive S&OP to al ign across business units, balance supply and demand, assess performance, and identify future risks and opportunities Engage with commercial/finance partners during OP/LE reviews to provide supply input and align/analyze unit and financial forecasts for budgeting and forecasting purposes (LRVF, Budgets) Own NPL processes, leading and coordinating all activities with key stakeholders to assure business plans are met Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing carrying costs; plan and execute inventory replenishment strategies, including reorder points and safety stock levels Responsible for alignment of all Product Changes with M PH and local market teams (Regulatory, Commercial and Finance) to avoid patient impact, secure service levels, and achieve business objectives Ensure SKU updated rationalization and segmentation Take full ownership of market BSC and metrics while identifying main drivers and improvement areas Monitor commercial opportunities and approve/reject based on supply lead times and requested quantities Perform all activities in compliance with Pfizer Quality Standards, and local state/federal government/BOH regulations Partner with stakeholders to ensure proper management of BD initiatives (such as localization) Facilitate discussions with health authorities on supply chain topics on behalf of Pfizer Report drug shortages to governmental authorities in alignment with local Regulatory and SCQ Inventory Planning Lead the creation and alignment of inventory optimization targets between PGS, Finance, and GSC locally Manage obsolescence risks and provide input on proposed annual inventory/write off budgets; align with Commercial & Finance partners during business reviews Balance between market opportunity and supply network capability Ensure alignment of product supply lead times with registrations and regulatory changes within market to avoid supply disruptions Embed continuous optimization of inventory via operational excellence standards Logistics Manage LSP operations at Alloga and Alliance Healthcare. Perform /oversight all logistic al activities in compliance with Pfizer Quality Standards and local state/federal government/BOH regulations Ensure internal/external audit findings are properly reported and CAPAs are completed Achieve budget targets including identification & implementation of cost reduction initiatives to contain expenses Review distribution model and its accordance with future business plans and patient/customer needs supporting new strategies, therapeutical areas and technologies Support value creation opportunities based on a deep Logistics expertise of market conditions and future market trends, Macro/micro economic impacts, Supplier pools, Competitor and Industry Insights and benchmarking Take lead in managing a timely LSP RFI/RFP process to ensure smooth business continuity. Ensure serialization governmental mandates are being implemented in a timely manner S ustainability Lead the efforts to achieve decarbonization goals in GSC and in the country/cluster Lead locally the Green Markets Logistics workstream in coordination with the global and regional teams Include sustainability in all discussions and negotiations with the LSP/transporters and any other logistics suppliers Support the Implementation of Celonis Sustainability App to measure In-Market Emissions from transportation; use the results to improve performance and adjust process to meet GS C targets. Lead the conversation at market level with external partners and with the authorities. External Engagement Create educational materials in line with our GSC and business communication strategy ; highlight key contribution initiatives in the communities where we operate Lead a unified communication voice in line with DEI values, ensuring messaging consistency across diverse stakeholders including customers, suppliers, BOHs professional associations, other companies or any relevant external stakeholders for all PGS related topics and in accordance with Corporate Affairs policies Collaborate cross- functionally to communicate stories that resonate with our external partners and highlight our commitment to sustainability Create external communication momentum for self and team promotion using compliant social media channels. Financial Ensure compliance with corporate and government regulations and legislation and be responsible for audit readiness from a local perspective within inventory, O2 C. Responsible for the development of GSC annual budget and financial forecast; ensure timely reporting of actuals with all sufficient comments. Monitor and control expenses to achieve budget and service levels Identify and implement cost improvement projects (CIPs) while maintaining efficiency and performance levels. Report monthly supply gaps, risks, recoveries and upsides Partner with commercial/Finance to develop annual OP budget and provide PGS feedbackon potential supply risks and opportunities Review and be part of the quarterly LE exercises and provide supply outlook for the business and finance team to build the best financial forecast possible Actively work with the commercial team to maximize business opportunities (example securing supply for an upside business opportunity ) Communicate the supply gaps to global PGS team and support with the discussion related to allocations with commercial DSA team. Manage write off and s upply related bucket of the P&L and proactively work with finance and commercial on key CIs. Organizational management Ensure all colleagues are trained on the requirements of GDP and have the appropriate competence and experience prior to commencing their role. Accountable for IMEx governance/development in the market and leadership of tier meetings driving actions toward performance improvements in all areas Build key supply chain capabilities ( e.g. Supply and Inventory Planning, PCM, Demand Planning, Logistics & Distribution, Plant-to- Hub and S&OPs) Deploy team resources effective ly and efficiently to meet the needs of markets and sourcing sites Ensure optimal adoption of tools and systems in alignment with global standard supply processes Elevate colleague engagement and promote an ownership culture, creating an environment in which every colleague functions as if he/she truly owns our purpose Technical skills BS/BA Degree. Preferably in the fields of Supply Chain, Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering or alike Proven relevant experience in Supply Chain, Planning (with a large focus in Demand Planning, logistic and customer service) Strong financial / marketing acumen to review strategic business plan Understanding of commercial strategies and relationships with 1st paying customers Knowledge in distribution model and Go-To-Market strategies Knowledge of supply sustainability regulations and reporting requirements while proposing and leading SC sustainability initiatives.
