CNC Cell Leader Mill/Turn

Role Overview:
* Set, operate, and program CNC mill/turn machining centres to produce precision fixtures and fittings.
* Manage and lead a team of CNC machinists, motivating and assessing their performance.
* Work with a variety of raw materials, adjusting speeds and feeds for optimal results.
* Ensure production meets strict timeframes, quality standards, and tight tolerances.
* Utilise FANUC/Mazatrol control languages and HyperMill programming.
* Conduct CMM inspections and use manual measuring tools.
* Implement Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement (CI) strategies.
* Collaborate with the wider engineering team to achieve production goals.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Strong experience with CNC Mill/Turn (Mazak Integrex) multi-axis machinery.
* Proficiency in programming, setting, and operating CNC machines.
* Knowledge of FANUC/Mazatrol control systems and HyperMill.
* Familiarity with CMM inspections and manual measuring techniques.
* Background in Lean Manufacturing and CI practices.
* Engineering qualification (City & Guilds, HNC, or similar).
* Leadership experience is desirable but not essential-this role is an ideal opportunity for those looking to step into leadership while maintaining technical expertise.
