Job Description
A permanent opportunity for an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Planner based in London Heathrow Airport (TW6) to work for a provider of specialist maintenance support services to airlines.
The main responsibility of the Aircraft Maintenance Planner will be to plan all engineering works utilising all available resources to maximise output.
Applicants must have a background in a similar role within Materials Planning, Technical Planning, Maintenance Planning, Engineering Planning, and Aircraft Maintenance Planning from the aviation or aerospace industries.
The duties of the Aircraft Maintenance Planner will include:
1. Collaborating with airline planners to schedule all short and long-term engineering projects and job slots using IT tools (Bit-on/Quinyx) and Microsoft Office.
2. Coordinating and planning all maintenance tasks and prioritizing projects in accordance with SLA’s.
3. Ensuring availability of tooling, material stock levels, and hangar availability for all planned works.
4. Creating and organizing all task cards.
To be considered for this Aircraft Maintenance Planner role you will require:
1. A professional aeronautical training qualification or similar knowledge acquired through several years of relevant work experience in an aircraft maintenance production or aircraft engineering environment.
2. Strong resource and materials planning skills.
3. Project management experience.
4. Familiarity with aviation technical documents.
