Spire Cardiff has a new opportunity for a BSE Accredited Echocardiographer to join our expanding Cardiology Department in Cardiff.
The hospital provides cardiac procedures for both inpatients and outpatients. In this role, you will be working very closely with our cardiac physiologists, cardiac consultants, and nursing staff.
You will work alongside some of the best consultants in the region.
Main Duties of the Job
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Performing echocardiography investigations for adults and adolescent patients, as part of the BSE guidance.
* Assessing patients' health and wellbeing across a complex and changing caseload.
* Providing reports for scans.
* Contributing to the implementation of new cardiac services.
* Contributing to quality improvement.
* Applying technology for measurement, monitoring, and treatment.
* Acknowledging the risk of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI) and understanding own responsibility.

Who We're Looking For
You will be able to demonstrate your detail-oriented thinking, interpersonal skills, and technological aptitude.
* BSC Clinical Physiology or equivalent.
* Completion of BSE.
* BSE registered.
* You will have the ability to scan adults, and ideally adolescent patients.
Contract Type: Bank
