This role is ideal for recent graduates exploring careers in teaching, educational psychology, or social services, as well as experienced LSAs with literacy and numeracy expertise.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Work one-to-one or with small groups, delivering interventions in literacy, numeracy, social skills, speech and language development, and mental health support.
* Support students with learning difficulties and disabilities.
* Collaborate with teachers in the classroom to enhance learning for students with additional needs.
We’re looking for individuals with:
* Strong English and Maths skills (proficiency in community languages is a bonus).
* The ability to take initiative, build positive relationships, and support vulnerable students.
* A firm yet empathetic approach to encouraging positive behaviour and personal development.
* Competent ICT skills and a proactive attitude to making a difference.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
