SEND Teaching Assistant / Support Worker
Location: Chester
Salary: £400 – £450 per week (dependent on experience)
I am working with a specialist school in Chester, who are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant / Support Worker to join their team on a full-time basis, working Monday – Friday, 8.30am until 3.30pm.
The school caters for students aged between 4 and 19, and each student has a designated 1:1 Teaching Assistant. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including a working kitchen, outdoor play equipment, and sensory rooms on site, all staff strive to promote as much independence as possible. Teaching Assistants are required to support students both inside and outside of the classroom throughout the day; although remaining in the classroom is encouraged, students may leave if they feel the need to. The school needs a Teaching Assistant who is hard-working, resilient, and passionate about SEND.
The school is looking for a TA to start as soon as possible, and I will be looking to speak with applicants as soon as possible. This is a long-term role, with the possibility of continuing throughout the academic year.
