Marketing & Tech Services Lead - Accord Animal Health

The Role
Accord Animal Health is looking for a Marketing and Technical Services Lead, veterinary surgeon qualified, to work alongside the key account team across the region towards achieving sales revenue targets.
This role will be paramount in helping to gain entry to further EU markets and in effectively positioning, branding and supporting the portfolio with appropriate campaigns, messaging, support materials and online tools.
This is a multi-faceted role where you will be responsible for ensuring all clinical claims and technical content is accurate and permissible, veterinary customers and sales staff are trained on product launches and educated on the latest treatment protocols, and as the range of products grows, make sure we have alignment across the portfolio and across all channels.
You will support our key account staff in meetings with key customers across the region and build appropriate business relationships with all internal and external stakeholders including corporate senior management, veterinary professionals, clinical directors and appropriate industry networks and creative agencies, thereby delivering positive commercial results.
You'll gain a comprehensive understanding of Accord's veterinary licensed products and nutraceuticals and as such, will be required to develop robust marketing plans to drive all promotional activities that will help achieve sales targets and key performance metrics for the animal health portfolio. You'll maintain detailed action plans and meeting reports; participate in customer segmentation and targeting exercises; and support the Commercial Lead in assessing NPD opportunities and in developing accurate sales forecasts. The flexibility to engage with customers remotely as well as the need for regular travel across the territory is essential for this role.
The Person
* Broad experience in the UK Animal Health sector - Ideally within the companion animal and equine market.
* Previous experience as a Vet.
* Thorough understanding of Marketing strategies and methodologies.
* Ability to detail products, treatment options and clinical data.
* Deliver compelling customer education and training with confidence and from a position of clinical expertise.
* Evidence of achieving sustainable uptake of products by corporate customers and veterinary buying groups.
* High degree of self-motivation and long-term commitment to a new challenge.
* Commercially aware with good analytical, IT and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to operate in a complex fast-moving environment whilst conforming to industry-driven compliance requirements.
