Job summary Intermediate Care is looking to recruit a full time Nurse Ward/Team Manager (Registered Nurse on the NMC register or Registered AHP on the HCPC register. Intermediate Care Units provide short term care for patients who require inpatient support, ongoing care and rehabilitation prior to returning home. We are looking for a highly motivated, dynamic and passionate individual. The post holder will work be required to travel across our three intermediate sites Rye Hospital, Bexhill Irvine and Eastbourne Milton Grange. You will need to provide strong leadership, possess excellent communication skills and be able to develop and support staff with clinical and professional expertise. You will also be expected to function effectively under pressure without compromising standards of care and professionalism. You must also have advanced clinical knowledge and skills, be willing to participate in research and audit projects and will also be expected to work with a certain amount of autonomy. You must be a 1st level Registered Nurse with significant experience at Band 6 Sister /Charge Nurse level or a registered AHP on the HCPC register with team leader/management experience.
