Temporary Business Support Assistant within the Reablement Team.
Applications are invited from highly motivated, enthusiastic, and hardworking individuals who are experienced administrators with excellent communication and IT skills.
The post holder will provide business and administrative support as necessary to the team and support unit managers in daily tasks.
Responsibilities include:
1. Provide general administrative support including photocopying, filing, scanning, organizing meetings, minute taking, and developing and utilizing standard letters, pre-formatted documents, and PowerPoint presentations.
2. Ensure the efficient and effective delivery of support to meet service needs and maintain business levels.
3. Undertake activities connected with supporting the work of the service, ensuring that activities are properly operated to achieve optimum efficiency and effectiveness, including entering, keeping, and updating service user records.
4. Receive telephone and other communications to enable effective liaison and recording of incoming information.
5. Provide information, advice, and guidance as required.
6. Screen messages and requests from staff within the services, public, and other agencies and organizations, deciding upon the appropriate course of action while preserving an efficient image of the department.
The post is 4 days a week temporary for 6 months.
