GSK have an exciting opportunity for a results-focused professional with strong business acumen and relevant strategic access experience to join our Respiratory and General Medicines Team. Working closely with a cross-functional team, you will be accountable for clinically differentiating our product and building advocacy in key accounts to drive uptake and commercial success. You will be part of a passionate, high-performing team who are committed to improving patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Development and implementation of industry-leading key account plans to execute the national strategy for Respiratory.
* Understanding the customer processes and steps to achieving local market access and population-level uptake across ICBs and PCNs.
* Leveraging deep local account and customer environmental insight to build strong account plans that translate GSK's strategy into local execution.
* Understand respiratory pathways and decision-making processes that impact on prescribing across key accounts.
* Prioritisation through effective account segmentation and stakeholder targeting/mapping.
* Develop and maintain an expert level of product and disease area knowledge to influence product advocacy in clinical experts and local payers that leads to access and uptake of GSK medicines.
* Build trust and develop relationships with key population level decision makers and respiratory clinical experts using an account management approach.
* Influence and shape the local health economy policy to deliver market access & population level uptake.
* Leverage and accelerate current NHS mechanisms to increase uptake (e.g. work plans, guidance development).
* Deliver high quality customer calls and present at small- and large-scale customer meetings to generate clinical and payer advocacy that achieves account goals.
* Ability to partner with local sales leaders to drive focus on personal objectives whilst providing clarity of accountability for other roles within GSK matrix team.
* Support implementation of services/solutions/commercial propositions to ensure that all patients who could benefit from a GSK medicine, within license, have access to it.
* Demonstrate measurable progress against local account plans, in line with GSK policy, using clearly defined KPIs e.g. coverage and frequency, share of voice and delivery against key project milestones.

* Degree level
* Current ABPI certification
Preferred Skills
* Expertise and demonstrated skills as a Regional / Strategic Account Manager previously.
* NHS knowledge and understanding.
* Ideally experience working in respiratory.
* Ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple way.
* Ability to work as part of a cross-functional territory team.
* Interpersonal, communication and influencing skills – both internal and external.
* Demonstrated ability to analyse and assimilate data.
* Ability to take an account management approach to planning and decision-making.
