We have a fantastic career opportunity to join our Marketing Team at RKW, Europe’s leading distributor and manufacturer of small domestic appliances and housewares products, working as part of the marketing team. Part of the Sutton Venture Group, RKW was established in 1989 and has grown from strength to strength.
RKW operates across a number of product categories with a house of brands strategy that sees specific owned “RKW group” brands representing the business in specific product categories. Each brand is autonomous with a specific position within the product category. This portfolio of brands includes Carmen (focused within Personal Care product categories), Barbary & Oak, Wade Pottery and Milton Brook (focused within Housewares product categories). With ambitious plans to grow these brands, we require a Marketing Apprentice to support growth within the portfolio.
Responsibilities:
Content creation:
1. Create engaging content for New Product introductions and Seasonal events
2. Use visual identity documents to produce campaign artwork for use on all marccoms channels.
3. Work closely with the inhouse creative team to produce video and image content designed to achieve specific marketing objectives
4. Use trend and community insights to curate content for maximum effect on all social media channels.
Social Media:
5. Execute the monthly organic social media calendar programme across target platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. Working 1 month in advance.
6. Utilise the social media management software to manage social media activity
7. Overseeing community management, engagement, and building relationships with the online community across various social media platforms
Planning:
8. Contribute to the creation of the monthly Social Media and Influencer calendars
9. Contribute to creative ideas and themes for marcomms activities
10. Plan ahead reserving product samples to send to influencers for content creation ahead of calendar activity plans
Admin:
11. Maintain a library of social content
12. Maintain a library of influencer content sharing content across multiple platforms
Reporting:
13. Report on trends
14. Monthly report on social media and Influencer activity performance to agreed KPIs
General Duties
15. Research key competitors marketing activity
16. Collaborate with the in-house Design Studio for the creation of marketing content
17. Collaborate with the in-house Web Marketing team
18. Collaborate with the Product Marketing Team delivering marcomms activities consistent with product priorities and NPI roadmaps
Requirements:
You need to have a GCSE in Maths and English at Grade 4/C or above.

As a Multi-Channel Marketer Apprentice, you help with planning, creating and implementing, impactful marketing campaigns across digital platforms. As part of the Marketing team, the multi-channel marketers will contribute to the implementation of the Marketing strategy and plans. They will be responsible for delivering day-to-day marketing activities across a multitude of platforms, channels and systems that are essential to the Marketing function and activities of the company.

For the Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship, there is an end point assessment. This is done in the final part of the apprenticeship and is how the apprentice is judged on their learning and will include:
