Job Description:
Are you a recent graduate in business or science, ready to kickstart a rewarding career in pharmaceuticals?
This opportunity is with a forward-thinking company dedicated to enhancing lives through innovative medicines. They’re looking for a Customer Service Executive to join their Commercial team; an ideal entry-level role for someone keen to develop skills, make a difference, and grow within the industry.
This position places you at the core of a unique dispensing scheme, supporting doctors across the UK with access to essential rebates and services. You’ll build practical experience in customer service, problem-solving, and commercial operations, key skills for a future in pharmaceuticals. It’s an opportunity to contribute meaningfully while establishing a solid career foundation.
What you will be doing:
1. Customer Engagement: Manage inbound and outbound calls with healthcare professionals, assisting with scheme navigation and resolving inquiries efficiently.
2. Scheme Support: Onboard new practices, handle stock-related questions, and contribute to commercial campaigns.
3. Attention to Detail: Maintain accurate customer records, address queries promptly, and ensure alignment with business goals.
4. Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues in sales and supply chain to share insights and support product delivery.
What we are looking for:
You hold a recent degree in business, pharmaceutical science, or a related field that has ignited your interest in pharmaceuticals. You’re results-driven, with strong communication skills and a proactive mindset. Proficiency in Excel is required for data analysis and decision-making support.
What’s On Offer:
1. Competitive Starting Salary: £26,000 - £29,000, reflecting your potential and growth.
2. Progressive Development: A tailored training plan, including support to gain the ABPI qualification, setting you up for long-term success in the sector.
3. Purposeful Work: A role within a team focused on delivering innovative healthcare solutions.
4. Office-Based Collaboration: Work Monday to Friday in a vibrant office environment alongside commercial and supply chain colleagues.
5. Travel Opportunities: Attend national team meetings in the UK (4-5 days, twice yearly), an international year-end meeting (3-4 days in December) and occasional industry events.
6. Career Progression: Start here with the potential to advance within the Commercial function.
This organisation excels in innovation, teamwork, and tangible impact. You’ll join a committed team in a supportive setting, contributing to goals that extend beyond the workplace. Bring enthusiasm, adaptability, a desire to learn, and a comprehensive development plan will guide your success.
