To teach and support the provision of Chinese from Primary 7 to S6. Deliver an introduction to Chinese through the Primary 7 modern foreign language carousel, support Lower 4 and Upper 4 with their development in Chinese, and oversee the provision of GCSE, Higher, and Advanced Higher Chinese. Foster a lively and enthusiastic atmosphere within the school, stimulate students to a high standard of interest, and encourage them to develop their potential to the full. Keep abreast of developments within the curriculum, integrate new information into course development, and facilitate the ongoing development of learning and teaching provision. Ensure students' work and performance are monitored, assessed, and progressed in line with national and school requirements. Offer students support and strategies to overcome specific learning difficulties and general additional support needs. Ensure appropriate provision is made for students with access arrangements in examinations and ensure the safety of all students under supervision. Maintain regular contact with the Head of Faculty, work with colleagues to maintain high standards of behaviour, and keep abreast of and implement developments in school policies. Maintain high personal standards of punctuality, appearance, and commitment, and participate in appropriate supervisory duties shared by all members of staff.
