Elevation Accountancy & Finance are excited to be partnering with a leading business in the Rotherham area, who are seeking a confident and knowledgeable Credit Controller to join their team to support during a period of business change and growth. This role will initially be on a temporary basis for c. 3-6 months, but there will be scope for permanency for the right candidate! They will also consider Full Time OR Part Time hours!
We are currently looking for an experienced Credit Control professional who has proven debt collection / account reconciliation experience to be able to jump in and hit the ground running in a stand-alone position!
Duties & Responsibilities of the Credit Controller will include:
* Ensuring customers pay within their agreed payment terms
* Chasing outstanding customer payment via email, letter, and phone
* Processing card payment
* Allocation of payments
* Setting up new customers
* Sending copy invoices where required
* Scanning sales invoices, renaming, and filing
Required experience for Credit Controller:
* At least 2 years’ experience of working in a credit control role.
* Analytical skills and thorough attention to detail
* Ability to build strong working relationships both internally and externally
* Good communications skills both verbal and written.
* Ability to manage workload and prioritise.
* The ability to listen and negotiate with customers.
