Nurses and Paramedics, are you ready to make your next career move away from a hospital or community setting? The post holder will work within our Integrated Contact Centres (ICC) based across the North West. As a UECC, you will be responsible for the remote assessment of patients whilst ensuring the delivery of excellent patient care through the continuous achievement of high clinical standards.

* Post registration clinical experience in a face to face, primary or acute care setting, emergency department or pre-hospital role.
* Excellent leadership and mentoring skills to support staff.
* Resilient, highly motivated and passionate about delivering outstanding patient care.
* An ability to adapt to a new and challenging setting.
* Basic computer skills.

Training for this role is on a full-time basis and lasts between 5 and 10 weeks, depending on the triage tool that staff are being trained to use. Candidates must ensure that they are able to commit to this training IN FULL, as no annual leave can be taken whilst in training.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Positions are currently available over the following locations:
Bolton, Carlisle, Liverpool
Remote triage within ICC’s is delivered on a 24/7 basis, with post holders being expected to work a variety of shifts which may include full night shifts, Bank Holidays, and other Public Holidays.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a simulated telephone assessment which will take place over Teams W/C 10th March 2025.
Successful candidates will then be invited to a F2F interview during W/C 24 and 31 March 2025.

Qualifications / Knowledge
* Registered Paramedic or Adult Nurse - member of the Health Professions Council (HPC) or member of the Nursing & Midwifery Council (UK) (NMC)
* Completion of Newly Qualified Period
* Excellent knowledge of Pre-hospital Care Provision
* Evidence of CPD
Experience
* Appropriate post registration clinical experience in a face to face primary or acute care setting, emergency department or pre-hospital role OR evidence of credible experience in a previous role
* Awareness and/or experience of working toward performance and quality targets and the contribution these make to patient care
* Experience of autonomous decision making
