The role & about the client:
ITS Building People are recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing property development company for an experienced and proactive Property Development Coordinator to support the delivery of residential and commercial projects across multiple sites.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team where you'll play a central role in driving projects from planning through to completion. Working closely with directors, site managers, consultants, and external partners, you'll help keep developments on track—coordinating logistics, managing documentation, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
The role is office-based, working Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Act as a key point of contact between project managers, consultants, and contractors.
2. Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and third-party providers to maintain project momentum.
3. Liaise with estate agents, legal teams, and financial institutions during sales and handovers.
4. Manage communication with local councils and planning authorities, including applications and consultations.
5. Track multiple site progress reports, ensuring deadlines are met and tasks prioritised.
6. Attend site meetings, provide logistical support, and maintain project documentation.
7. Ensure compliance with statutory and planning requirements.
8. Take ownership of day-to-day issues and escalate concerns when necessary.
9. Report directly to directors on project status, risks, and delivery timelines.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
1. Experience coordinating across multiple teams including consultants, legal, sales, and compliance.
2. Knowledge of planning processes, building regulations, and development timelines.
3. Confident, organised, and solutions-focused with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
4. Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
5. Ability to work independently, take initiative, and lead on tasks through to completion.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office, project management tools, and CRM systems.
7. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
