We are seeking a dedicated Speech & Language Therapist to enhance our team of professionals committed to providing the best life chances for our students. Day-to-day of the role: Plan and deliver speech and language therapy sessions tailored to your caseload. Collaborate with other therapists, teachers, learning support assistants, and care staff to ensure comprehensive support. Monitor and report on pupils’ progress, providing valuable feedback to enhance educational outcomes. Offer recommendations and guidance to parents/carers, colleagues in school, and other professionals. Maintain accurate case records in accordance with school policy and RCSLT guidelines. Stay updated with relevant clinical research to implement evidence-based practices. Participate in the supervision and training of SaLT students and contribute to whole school training sessions and meetings. Attend and contribute to annual reviews as directed and engage actively in the school community, supporting its ethos and regulations. Required Skills & Qualifications: Qualified Speech & Language Therapist, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Experience in working with children or young adults with special educational needs is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to professional development and staying informed on the latest industry practices.
