Key responsibilities for this role include:
* Analyse and Forecast Sales Data: Reviewing trends to identify opportunities to support internal stock decisions.
* Promotion Planning: Scheduling and implementing promotions and markdowns to meet sales targets using available data.
* Stakeholder and Supplier Management: Sharing data, trends, and opportunities with internal stakeholders as well as building effective working relationships with suppliers, buying & product teams, and the wider marketing & digital teams.
* Support Launches: Supporting new product launches, ensuring there are few supply chain issues.
* Budget Management: Managing a multi-million budget.
* Lead Time Management: Ensuring products are ordered and shipped on time to the warehouse for delivery.
* Manage Inventory: Ensuring products are available and managing stock levels, including re-buy suggestions.
* Purchase Orders: Creating and sending purchase orders for re-buys and new range products.
* Order Tracking: Receiving and expediting order acknowledgements with suppliers to update the delivery dates on the system.
* Freight Forwarding: Working closely with freight forwarders, negotiating container rates, tracking approved shipments, and notifying any date changes along the way, ensuring all necessary documentation is provided.
The successful candidate must have:
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience ideally within eCommerce/B2C, including purchasing processes and stock management.
* Management of freight forwarding & direct supply/manufacturer processes.
* Familiarity with purchase order workflows.
* Experience working with suppliers to confirm and adjust schedules with store teams.
* Experience using Business Dynamics ERP system and any forecasting demand tools is an advantage. Advanced Excel skills, including creating formulas to manage data, are essential.
* Proven analytical skills to interpret sales forecasts, stock data, lead times, stock volumes, trends, etc.
