About the Role
As Email Marketing Coordinator you will develop and execute engaging email marketing campaigns that connect with prospective students. This role is key to ensuring our messaging is delivered at the right time, to the right audience, and in a way that complements our wider marketing strategy.
You’ll be responsible for planning, creating, and optimising email campaigns, working closely with internal teams to ensure content aligns with student recruitment goals. With a strong focus on performance tracking and continuous improvement, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our email marketing effectiveness.
What You’ll Do:
1. Contribute to the development and execution of an impactful email marketing strategy.
2. Create and deliver high-quality, engaging email campaigns tailored to prospective students.
3. Manage and maintain an email marketing calendar to ensure timely, relevant messaging.
4. Collaborate with the Marketing, Recruitment, and Admissions teams to align email marketing with broader initiatives.
5. Work with internal stakeholders to ensure email campaigns reflect the needs and operations of different university departments.
6. Analyse campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations to optimise engagement and return on investment.
What You’ll Bring:
1. A degree in a relevant subject or equivalent professional experience.
2. Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences.
3. Experience using DotMailer or similar email marketing platforms.
4. Basic knowledge of HTML email design, data segmentation, and automation.
5. Experience with A/B testing and campaign optimisation.
6. Design skills using InDesign, Adobe Suite, or similar tools.
7. Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
