Accounts Assistant / Credit Controller – Part Time
Active Washrooms (Part of Active Group) is a leading independent washroom services company, supplying a wide range of reliable and professional washroom services to commercial premises across the UK. These range from Sanitary Disposal, Air Freshening to Entrance & Logo Matting.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for an additional part-time Accounts Assistant / Credit Controller to join our busy team based at our head office in Norwich. (Working Days to be agreed on commencement of employment)
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced accounts department environment, be well-organized, and possess excellent communication skills. Familiarity with Excel spreadsheets and Sage accounting software is essential, along with strong customer service skills and a professional telephone manner.
The key responsibilities will typically consist of the following:
* Setting up new clients
* Producing Invoices, Statements & Credits
* Accurately Allocating Payments
* Assisting customers with payment queries
* Credit Control
* Chasing Payment
* Producing month-end reports for the financial director
* Processing supplier invoices & accurately preparing supplier invoices for payment
* Liaising with the financial director
* Ad-hoc work as required and other routine administrative tasks
To fulfil the role effectively, you will need to demonstrate the following skills:
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Positive can-do attitude
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Keen eye for detail
* Ability to cope well under pressure
* Able to work effectively in both a team and individually
* Show initiative and a willingness to learn new skills
* Good IT skills, particularly within Microsoft Excel & Sage
