We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Manager for a Domiciliary Care service in Hastings. With an already established and successful health and social care recruitment business operating, my client is now looking to expand to in-house domiciliary care provision, delivering top-quality care to vulnerable adults within the local area. The service is ready to go, with the CQC registration process already undertaken, thy just need a driven and ambitious Registered Manager in place to take it forward, market them in the area and start taking on clients. You’ll benefit from the fact that my client already has care and office staff that you can utilise and have a brilliant reputation locally, as you look to secure and fulfil domiciliary care packages. The Registered Manager role Your initial focus will be Business Development, you’ll work to market the agency in the local area to build up a client base. This will include; leaflet dropping, visiting day centres / community centres / community events / reaching out to care professionals / building up an online presence on social media etc. and thinking of creative ways to promote the business in the local area. Meet with all prospective clients and their families to complete assessments and discuss what you can deliver in order to meet their care needs. Create Care Plans, Risk Assessments and all other care documentation for each client. Undertake medication assessments Conduct interviews for with new care staff and ensure that a steady stream of carers are recruited in order to fulfil care packages. Ensure that all staff receive the correct training at the right times. Conduct audits on the service to ensure that it is meeting CQC compliance As the business grows, you’ll recruit a full complement of office staff. What we’re looking for: You’ll be an experienced Registered Manager of Domiciliary Care services with excellent business and interpersonal skills. You’ll be a driven and ambitious manager who relishes the challenges that a start-up domiciliary care service brings. It’s important, particularly in the early stages, that you are willing to roll your sleeves up and take on any task you need to whilst they grow the hours and staff team. You’ll be able to promote and market the agency effectively and communicate their offerings well to potential customers.
