Our client is an innovative start-up based out of Cambridgeshire, looking for a new VP of Sales for their ever-growing business.
This hire comes off the back of a large quantity of successful work they have been doing in their field, and they are now looking to increase their client base and revenue center with an experienced and well-seasoned hire in the commercial landscape.
This role is a "sleeves rolled up" sales position with partial leadership and strategy, but also hands-on sales work to secure our client the best customers for their company.
Responsibilities include:
1. Working with existing clients and network bases to produce immensely exciting results for the business.
2. Fostering a growing team and teaching them methods and skills for their ongoing success.
The client's ideal candidate would have:
1. A PhD holder in Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, or a related field.
2. 10+ years of experience in Life Sciences in a commercial role.
3. Strong demonstrable and global sales experience.
4. Good leadership skills.
