Therapeutic Registered Manager – Swindon
Are you an experienced and passionate leader ready to make a real difference in the lives of young people? We are seeking a Therapeutic Registered Manager to join our customers team in the Swindon area, overseeing a residential home for children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties and Learning Disabilities.
The Offer:
Salary: Up to £48,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week
Annual Leave: 35 days (including paid bank holidays)

The Role:
As the Therapeutic Registered Manager, you will lead a dedicated team in providing a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for young people. You will be responsible for the overall management of the home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations, delivering high-quality care, and supporting the personal development of the children and young people in your care.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the residential team, ensuring high standards of care
2. Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and best practices
3. Develop and implement care plans tailored to each young person’s needs
4. Promote a therapeutic and child-centered approach
5. Oversee staff training, supervision, and professional development
6. Maintain a positive and safe environment that fosters growth and independence
We’re Looking For:
1. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or equivalent) in Residential Childcare
2. Proven experience in a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager role within children’s residential care
3. Strong knowledge of EBD, LD, and trauma-informed care approaches
4. Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a dedicated staff team
5. Understanding of Ofsted standards and regulations
6. Passion for making a positive impact on young people’s lives
