Ab Kettleby Primary School has a fantastic opportunity for an inspirational Teaching and Learning Lead to join our small, but mighty team and to gain a unique experience of working in partnership with Somerby Primary School Ab Kettleby is offering a full-time permanent Teaching and Learning Lead, which will give the successful candidates invaluable senior leadership experience. The opportunity for a job share is available to the right candidate. These roles will: • Ensure teaching and learning is at the heart of strategic planning • Ensure the school continues to work closely with parents and the community • Deputise for the shared Headteacher at whole school events and meetings when required to do so • Work with the Shared Headteacher as a Senior Leader and articulate the vision and culture of the school and the Trust • Be responsible for some of the day to day running of the school and visibly demonstrating responsibility and positive leadership • Work together with the Lead Teacher at Somerby Primary School, and the Shared Headteacher, to help drive both schools forward. • Have the expertise to lead Maths would be preferred but not essential.
