Lancaster and Morecambe College is a further education College situated on Torrisholme Road, between Lancaster and Morecambe, Lancashire, England.
You will work towards achieving Level 3 Business Admin qualification for your future endeavours - with potential for employment within the industry or to seek further education.
The postholder will need to develop a sound knowledge of administration duties in order to fulfil the responsibilities of the post. The post will be based in the Learning Support department and will involve a range of day-to-day administrative challenges in a fast-paced environment.
Key Tasks/Responsibilities:
* Deal with enquiries by telephone, email and in person in a professional and helpful manner at all times.
* Process a range of administrative tasks arising within the team and from departmental responsibilities in an accurate and timely fashion.
* Carry out follow-up administrative tasks such as correspondence, phone calls, record-keeping, tracking, and spreadsheet maintenance, as directed by the manager.
* Assist the manager and team in project work and wider responsibilities as required.
* Undertake tasks such as word processing, photocopying, filing, scanning, etc., ensuring confidentiality of all personal data at all times.
* Keep abreast of developments within the department including a good working knowledge of all office procedures in order to provide cover in the absence of others.
* Liaise with staff in other departments in a professional and helpful manner as required.
* Attend and participate in regular team meetings, updates, and training as required.
* Manage diaries and arrange meetings as required; take accurate notes of meetings when requested.
* Other duties commensurate with the grade of post as required.

* End-Point Assessment (EPA).
* Relevant training will be provided through Lancaster and Morecambe College.
