About the opportunity
Transport Planning & Mobility Solutions at Jacobs sits within our Cities & Places business unit and is one of the most successful teams of its nature in the UK and Ireland. We work with a varied client base, have a strong local pipeline of work and support delivery to project teams across the globe.
We are seeking Senior level talent to join our regional team in the North and invite applications from those who have excellent working relationships within the Manchester Transport Planning industry, especially if you have a track record of working with Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM), Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) and Transport for the North (TfN).
Our local team is involved in a range of exciting and innovative projects covering all elements of transport planning including traffic modelling, economic appraisal, active modes, public transport, traffic engineering, policy & strategy formation and business case development.
Here's what you'll need
* Degree qualified in a relevant discipline (or equivalent) with significant local experience in the transport planning field across a range of high profile transport projects.
* In-depth knowledge and understanding of multiple transport planning fields including business case development, scheme feasibility, strategy formation, transport assessments and/or modelling.
* Significant business development and bid writing experience and a proven track record of managing successful client relationships.
* Experience of providing technical leadership and successfully managing projects including task, financial and risk controls.
