Description
1. Implementing and maintaining machinery in the production department.
2. Carrying out preventative maintenance on FMCG machinery.
3. Identifying and rectifying mechanical faults in the production line.
4. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
5. Collaborating with the engineering team to enhance production efficiency.
6. Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
7. Participating in the training and development of junior engineering staff.
8. Providing technical support to the manufacturing team as required.
Profile
1. NVQ level 3 in Engineering and a time served apprenticeship.
2. Previous experience in a FMCG manufacturing environment.
3. Proficient knowledge of mechanical systems and manufacturing machinery.
4. Strong problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset.
5. Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
6. The ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines.
