About the Role: Deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons across the secondary curriculum, covering a range of world religions, beliefs, and ethical systems. Develop and implement stimulating lesson plans that encourage critical thinking, discussion, and respectful dialogue. Assess student progress through essays, presentations, and other forms of assessment, providing constructive feedback. Contribute to the development of the RE curriculum and participate in departmental initiatives. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Religious Education or Theology. A good understanding of the secondary RE curriculum and effective teaching methodologies for a diverse student population. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate respectful discussions on sensitive topics.
