HR Manager (Maternity Cover)
Location: Liverpool
Duration: 12 months (Starting January 2025)
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum
About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to join our client’s team in Liverpool for a 12-month maternity cover starting in January 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the HR department of a well-established forward-thinking logistics organisation and contribute to the growth and success in 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the HR department
2. Manage recruitment and selection processes
3. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
4. Provide guidance and support to employees on HR related matters
5. Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
6. Handle employee relations and performance management
7. Coordinate training and development programs
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role
2. Strong knowledge of HR practices and up to date employment laws
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
4. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
5. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
6. CIPD qualification or equivalent is desirable
