Candidate Profile - Default language IKEA Lakeside are looking to welcome a Kitchen Production Manager.
Leading our kitchen team to deliver a taste of Sweden and a great customer experience showcasing that our food range is people & planet positive, healthy & delicious, affordable & convenient. In the role as Kitchen Production Manager, you are responsible for driving food operational excellence and ensuring a commercial food experience that is safe.

1. The Start Date of employment will be: May 2025
2. The starting salary for this role is £33,700 per annum, based on competence and experience.
3. 39 Hours working 5 days per week includes alternate weekends.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
1. An enthusiasm for food and leadership experience in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritise and organise your own and others workload.
2. You have an advanced knowledge of food production and food safety with experience of working in a food service business.
3. Business-minded and goal orientated with a customer focus, ability to make quick decisions and take personal initiatives and open to change.
4. Leading others, you will have good communication skills that can assist to build relationships with co-workers and customers.
5. An understanding of commerciality and sales building, keeping sales and profit in focus.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
1. Ensuring the kitchen operates in accordance with IKEA Quality and Food Safety requirements and other relevant legislation to secure a safe environment for customers and co-workers.
2. Secures the appropriate processes and procedures to secure quality of food, enhance operational efficiency, introduce vitality and to reduce waste.
3. Lead and oversee the food supply chain for efficient ordering, production and inventory levels to maximise profitability.
4. Ensure high quality standards of customer experience in the customer and co-worker restaurants.
5. Secure a lean, diverse and hard working team through building IKEA Food competence by empowering co-workers to act on their own initiative.
6. Ensuring that our customers are always in focus, having a daily dialogue with them and learning from and acting on their feedback.
7. Working with the Commercial Restaurant manager, you will plan and execute the IKEA Food agenda in terms of range and vitality.
