The RoleAs a Bank Support Practitioner, you’ll provide high-quality, person-centred care, ensuring continuity of support when colleagues are on leave or attending training. To build trusting relationships with the people we support, we ask that you ideally pick up 1-2 shifts per week. You’ll support individuals with disabilities and/or additional needs, helping them with everything from daily living tasks like meal prep and medication to attending appointments, enjoying activities, and maintaining personal care. Along with practical support, you’ll also offer emotional support, help individuals build relationships, and empower them to stay connected with family and friends.The people we support love being active in their communities, whether it’s arts and crafts, football, volunteering, or dining out, there’s always something happening! You’ll play a key role in helping them explore new hobbies, stay connected with family and friends and live life to the fullest. To join our team, we’d love for you to bring:A compassionate and empathetic nature.Strong observation skills to truly understand and support those in your care.Clear and confident communication, both verbal and written.Comfort with using computers and tech to assist in daily tasks.The ability to work well both as part of a supportive team and independently.Excellent organisational skills to help manage your day effectively.Shift PatternsOur dedicated friendly team provide 24/7 support which is tailored to the needs of each individual, so depending on shift length you may be supporting more than one individual but do not worry as we factor travel into your hours.
